10 O'Clock Live - Series 2 Page 10

Why, when the country (and the world) is overpopulated are we, the tax payers, paying people to have kids? Especially when people are the biggest cause of pollution on the planet.

I say stop all forms of child support, make parents pay for schooling, hospital visits, doctors, etc, stop these little bastards sponging off the state.

In fact, instead of paying people to have kids we should be paying people to be sterilised.

*There, that should put the cat amongst the pigeons*

Because they will have to pay for our pensions.

Nah, get rid of kids and encourage working age adults from other countries to come over and pay for our pensions.

OK, but immigrants tend to have more kids than residents, so you're only going to exacerbate your problem.

If you really want to get get rid of kids, call on RC and his nets.

I totally agree. There are far too many of the feculent, disgusting little shits on this planet yet everyone treats them like it's some achievement! "Oh you've had a baby? Congratulations!" When it should "Oh, you've had a baby? You f**king retard! What, do you want to kill us all faster?!" Why would any morally sane human being bring another child into this hell-hole of an existence?

Now, I'm not an expert on biology or evolution or civilisation or anything at all, but...for the human race to actually continue, we have to have children.

It's a pretty mind blowing concept, but I'm sure if you all think about it, you'll realise it makes sense.

And congratulations once again to Charlie and Konnie from everyone at the BCG (or not).

:O

I don't want to get rid of children, just the causes of them. Treat the disease not the symptoms.

If anyone is really worried about the over population of the planet, they could always kill themselves.

There's actually quite a lot of people about these days, both young and old, and if fewer people had kids, or had fewer kids, the human race would still continue.

Honestly, there are a lot of people. Probably over a million.

Wow, Jimmy's ladder joke really bombed. :/

Charlie's bit was funny (as usual) and the first round table chat about the three cheeked bum was great.

Very poor this week. First round table discussion became a load of boring poo jokes.

Brooker's rant was good but not brilliant, still nice to have it back this week.

All of Jimmy's jokes were about Internet porn...and I mean all of them.

Lauren's bit was the usual cavalcade of line tripping and mistimed punchlines.

The final round table surrounding Samantha Brick was a mess, with the lads talking over Lauren and each other and then it ended very abruptly.

The worst bit of the show however, was the George Galloway debate. This wasn't really the show's or David's fault. It was incredibly embarrassing to see our politicians descending into childish, immature name calling, smearing and character assassination instead of the issues.

Both satire and laugh light. Shame.

I came away from the show with a broadly positive impression of the episode - but I can't really disagree with much of that. Hm. Very curious show.

Would have liked a little more steering from Mitchell I think, but at least they let the debate run more to its conclusion this week, rather than cutting it off for some terribly unfunny sketch.

The ladder joke bombed so badly. I didn't think it was that bad!

Decent show I though. Galloway debate was decent, the 3 areshole gags were good as were Brooker's segment and the Samantha Brick part.
