Does anyone think this? I know people don't like the sort of hunting which results in foxes being torn to shreds, but what about all the other hunting? Unless it's an endangered species, or there are other complications, I'm all for it, much better for the animal to live in the wild, and often tastier, too. And in the case of controlling population, surely the best approach.

And the ultimate conservation. As long as we hunt animals, we will ensure that they breed, are healthy and have space to roam.
But what about the little baby animals when Mummy doesn't come home because an evil hunter shot her? Won't they starve to deaths?

Everyone I know, without exception, thinks smacking is sometimes necessary. The distinction between smacking and beating should be obvious.

I agree. Stop hunting animals. Just start hunting Chavs. There's too many of them and they're no use to anyone or anything.

There's nothing really new in that video, the police report that we saw days ago says that he was cuffed & taken to the station for questioning, normal procedure I presume.

People are jumping on it because they claim that it shows no injuries to Zimmerman's nose or head. They're jumping on ABC because they covered his head with their logo for most of the video.
It's obvious that an officer is checking out something on the back of his head. Other websites have isolated frames that appear to show a large vertical cut on the back of his head.
What they really need to do is talk to the paramedics who treated him. The cops likely took photos of his wounds as well.

Not surprising, I seem to recall that the police report said that Zimmerman was attended to by the police medic before being cuffed.
Did the police bother to find the spot on the pavement that would have had blood on it ? Forensics could prove that the back of his head hit the pavement.
