Trying to watch Hitchhikers Guide film on iPlayer. Only 30 mins in and it is really getting on my nerves. Should I continue? I so want to like it

I don't remember it improving, I suppose you could just flash forward to the guide animations they're ok.
Otherwise watch the original TV series.
The film's rubbish. Lots of celebrities, no soul.
Gave up at 50 mins as realised was reading something and the laser scene was distracting me.

I've heard this is very good and the British cast looks very impressive.

Was the scene where Trillian waxed lyrically about the knife that made toast.
The whole point is technology doesn't help. The universe is vast and vastly wrong.

Instead, it was Sam and Frodo who did that. God, those bits bore me. Plus the 27 'different' endings to Return of the King.

Well I don't know what I'm watching, but some kind of zombie Megan Fox just projectile vomited a few buckets worth of weird black funky blood in someone's kitchen.
