I read the news today oh boy! Page 722

I heard Ken criticising Boris, saying he hadn't done anything. Bearing in mind that Londoners hated what Ken did, doing nothing is quite a vote-winner.

Generalistation ahoy!

Olympics, new trafalgar square, more buses, oyster cards, dignified response to July 7, fighting the government tooth and nail over PFI, making a mockery of fuel strikes.

A lot of stuff was popular but he did lose it a bit towards the end.

Yeh he's a bit of an old antisemite, but with him it's more of a lovable eccentricity.

Perhaps he could trade our rich Jews to Chavez in exchange for cheap oil?

The reason that people are saying that Boris did nothing, is because we never report on good news, whereas when Red Ken was in charge, half his cabinet had to resign over 'financial irregularities'.

Does Ken Livingstone have any bicycles named after him? I think not!

I was actually thinking of Lilt but didn't specify! Yep, try buying a can of anything from outside a tube station for under two quid. Unbef**kinglievable

As Shakespeare once said, they are 'much too teef, the rasclarts'.

That is disgusting and unfair you bigot.

Lee Jasper had to resign for using his email to sexually harrass people.

Damnit, if people from Brum talk like that they'll be able to confuse our border guards into believing they're allowed in

Mmm, Lilt.

Boris is a nitwit, but a clever nitwit. I still like him though!
Being a Tory is not an automatic dislike for me at all. ;)

He is not a nitwit.

He's lazy, self interested and ambitious he just pretends to be a nitwit/

Cheeky f**ker tried to hire someone to do his job as mayor when he first took office.

:D Being an evil bastardy one should be though. We get the politicians we deserve. Unfortunately I get them too

Fine, he pretends to be a nitwit. It's much the same result!

:D

In a funny way I like Bozzer and Ken.

In an anodyne dreary race to the bottom that is national politics.

Tyhere's no real diference between either side.

But the power of the London Mayor attracts nutters, showmen and mavericks.

Of which these 2 are fine examples.

Boris makes the London news fun to watch.

So would a monkey throwing its plops

Not reeeeally. I'd switch over.

Also the London overground ring railway, allocated beat cop in each ward and an expansion of bus routes

Livingstone has always been a blabbermouth but he is an effective operator, not afraid to master detail and does and always has wanted to run London.

There lies Boris Johnson's problem; he is hopelessly out of his depth as a municipal politician. He sees this job as a stepping stone to fuel his over-inflated ego and has little interest in the nitty gritty issues that face a large city.
He is more suited to the role of a junior Foreign Office minister where he can impress Johnny Foreigner wanking off his knowledge about the Roman Empire and Ancient Greece.

I love the way people are throwing around the words 'killer' and 'murderer' to someone who has been proven innocent by the police.

Are you saying the guy who shot the kid in the head didn't kill him? That's a theory I hadn't heard yet.
