This is a platform for amateur comedians looking to get known. We've not much content to start with, but are hoping comedians will upload their videos soon!

Fifth time lucky ... wheey, and it loads. Although I see what you mean about not much content...

I just pinged the servers and they are returning at a good rate, not sure why you had issues

There is not much content as we are a start up.

We really want to give people a platform which is dedicated to stand-up comedy. The more avenues a person has the better it is for their profile.

I like the look of it, but would be helpful if there was a bit more information on there re what the site is about and what you'd like from people.

Thanks for your interest "Shandonbelle". We are working at the moment and looking at ways of giving a better explanation of what the site is and how to use it.

There are a few guidelines;

Each video is capped to a maximum of 5 minutes long.
Create a profile and upload your video that is under 5 minutes long.
Videos we like, we will feature on the main page.

What we're looking for;

We're looking for stand-up comedy style video, this could be you sat directly in front of the camera, stood back so your whole body is in frame, whatever really, we want the users to find the best style for them. We would like minutelaughs.com to be a site people can go to and watch amateur comedians, up and coming and also a place for those up and coming comedians to upload their videos and have them watched all over the world. It could be a great chance for amateurs to build up some online presence, some internet notoriety and hopefully a helping hand on the way to becoming the next big comedian.

Thanks, but my comedian is very much on the outside and he hosts his own videos.

If you're looking for content why don't you offer some kind of cash incentive? Monthly competitions, that sort of thing? You'll soon see traffic rolling by.

We certainly have started looking at monthly competitions and the like, we just want to get some base minimum content on the site first and generate some user traffic before rolling out and competitions.
I have taken a look at your site and do indeed see you do your comedy on the outside and are a funny man, do you think you would be interested in uploading a video or two?
We really want to promote original content and boost the funny people who are maybe to afraid to 1st take to the stage as they don't know if they'll be funny enough. We're looking for videos up to 5 minutes, original content, recorded in front of a webcam, a smartphone or something similar.
