Basically, a young black dude wearing a hoodie is trespassing on a private gated community and is shot dead by the head of the Neighbourhood Watch. This is now a racist issue apparently.
I would like to move to that gated community immediately.

The guy who shot the kid identified him to the police as a black male with his hand in his waistband looking suspicious, he followed him a shot him on that basis alone. Turns out he was just a kid taking a shortcut. I think the killing was racially motivated (in the sense that his preconceptions about black young men resulted in a murder) but I think that the fact he wasn't arrested is more to do with the stupid laws they have. I imagine if the kid had been white there might have been more of an outrage, though.
The fact that they didn't arrest him is ridiculous.
At which point he can make bail and try to prove his innocence which he may succed at.
But not arresting him? That's ridiculous.
