What the likes of Anna Ford fail to grasp is that they never had any significant talent and only got their chance ahead of more able men and ugly women because the producer wanted a bit of totty on the show. Having been promoted young and beyond their competence they now seem determined to hang on in there after their looks have gone denying future generations of bimbos the same chance in life. Shame.

People like you stop Tom Selleck scoring with hot chicks.

You calling me a fag?

Laughing out loud

This is beyond true. First she accuses the Beeb of being ageist and then she calls David Dimbleby a 'dinosaur'. So it's okay to make ageist comments against men because they have a job.

Pakistan is driving its nuclear weapons around in delivery vans. What could possibly go wrong? Errr

Well when American carries out unilateral military operations on other countries soil.

So the cost of killing one sick old man of little significance. Would seem to be Pakistan's nuclear weapons on the road. And probably not even being hijacked, just written straight to LAK by a traiter or a guy with just an evelope full of dollars.

I hope the cost of justice is worth it.

You calling me a fag?

Yes fortunately Tom Selleck has a great many hot chicks to get through, before he gets round to you.

Now go cry in your pink, lavender Jessica Fletcher pillow.

Osama bin Laden was neither old nor insignificant. He got exactly what he deserved and you'd have to be a moron to think otherwise.

I think the word is 'revenge'. 'Justice' implies due process, lawyers, courts etc. Sending a military force into another country to shoot an unarmed man (no matter how deplorable his crimes were) is not justice, it's America denying sovereignty to other nations to protect its own interests. I wonder what the US reaction would be if Russia sent a military force to kill someone in America.

DaButt I'm glad he's dead.

I'll be even more glad if Pakistan's ISI doesn't give an atom bomb or two to some one who might actually use it.

200,000 dead is not worth feeling good about killing some aged guy who's done bog all in years.

I once went to a talk given by a charity that defends Israel drone assassinations.

It was Kafaesque. They actually had trials for targets, with judges and a defence council. Except the defendant didn't know they were on trial in some secret court room a 100 miles away. If they were found innocent, or if they were guilty.

The first clue to that would be a missile through their car's roof.

A letter to say they were innocent would have been nice.

That's what 21st century postmodern hitech justice looks like.

You people are shitting me right? If Pakistan didn't want US soldiers 'invading' their sovereignty, then the Intelligence Service should have handed over Osama years ago.

But, Pakistan is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and members of it's government actively support Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

As for Osama being some innocent old man - get real. He masterminded the deaths of over 3000 innocent people and commited the largest terrorist attack on American soil.

The bastard had to die - there was no need for a court case because not only was their evidence to suggest he planned the attacks, he admitted it several times and in fact, revelled in it. Therefore, justice was served.

Pure horse shit, m'dear.

Yeah, like when Israel tracks down elderly concentration camp guards and wants to arrest them, they haven't murdered any Jews in over 50 years and yet they still want to bring them to justice.

Why won't they leave these innocent old people alone?

Well DaButt in 10-20 years China may well be the preeminent superpower.

At that stage they may decide to apply some of the methods the Americans have granted themselves in the war of terror.

At that point going buttocks to the process of law may not seem so wise.

The most likely recipient of a Pakistani-built bomb would be the Saudis. They bankrolled the Pakistani nuclear program and will want a few of their own after Iran tests the bomb it's working on.

Rather perversley ignoring what I'm saying.

But they're arrested and put on trial and not gunned down in their pjs. For crimes that are still open.

Which has the bonus of being disinsentive to other war criminals.

Which is why Serbian and Congolese war criminals etc are still being pursued.

nb Israel hasn't tracked any of these f**kers in years. They're rather busier killing Arabs, which I don't think helps anyone much.

I won't complain much if they're killing American terrorists who murdered tens of thousands of Chinese citizens.
