I always appreciate critique, no matter how wrong .

If you were anymore vain you'd be sitting on a roof indicating the direction the wind is blowing.
I'm so vain I don't even appear in my own sketch show!
You're so vain I bet you think this thread is about you, don't you, don't you?
I bet his scarf is apricot.
I bet his scarf is apricot.
I heard he went down to Santa Cosa, and of course his horse naturally won.
Found this a bit hard work if I'm honest.
I only actually laughed out loud once and that was at the WKD. Very good (short and snappy). Most seemed just too drawn out. Oh and was amused at the Deniro biscuits
For me the majority was just not funny, cleverly done, yes.
And as ever all your work looks very professional but it just doesn't seem to click this end. Obviously I'm putting this down to personal taste.
Good luck all the same
Well it ain't gonna knock Miranda Hart off her perch any time soon.
But I used to love this mental shit on late night cable channels. Far more reminesent of Tim and Eric's stuff.

Oh well, you can't please 'em all. Thanks for the input anyway.

I shouldn't expect she'd need one, she's very tall.
When they're short they're gorgeous, but the trouble with using found footage for thew longer sketches is that you can't control the timing as you can in a real sketch, and it's harder to engineer a punchline.
So, my love of bacon cars is already on the record. WKD was spot on. Kraken really tickled me. They were the real hits.
Phone contract had some wonderful lines - especially "we're not really set up for miltary activity" - but I felt that sticking with the flow of the footage meant there were some lulls in the chuckles. Probably funnier if you're really familiar with the original, and can play off the original responses in your mind...?
Charlie was nicely done, but a bit too much of an internet gag, if you get my drift - plus it probably only works for Britons in their mid-30s.
Bobby's biscuits was fibe, but I felt it needed a punchline; at least after watching 8 minutes of other found footage sketches, would doubtless be fine on its own.
Not sure I really understod the Breakfast Club one, although it's always a good time to hear DJ Zinc's jungle classic!
Didn't get the last piece at all...I thought a giant sausage on a fork was going to come out of the clouds as she reached the horizon, which would have been AMAZING. You could have a whole series of Grange Hill sausage interventions into famous films, and I'd be happy (being, of course, a Briton in their mid-30s).
In short (!) a very nice bunch of jokes, but I think it reduces the impact to put them all together, they'd interleave well with straight sketches.
Loved the WKD one. Grange Hill is great too! Agree with what others have said. Hit and miss but not complete misses. But it's still a great show reel from you both. I can't wait to see what you produce next.
Thanks for the detailed critique, Gappy! As it happens, most of the shortcomings you've pointed out have been addressed in the latest edit, so hopefully that will make for an improved watch.
I don't know that there's anything to get with the Grange Hill sketch, it's just one of those things that makes you laugh or doesn't. Seems to be the most divisive of the sketches for sure.

Stick around, we've got another sketch show going online in the next couple of weeks.
Adam and Joe when they did similar stuff didn't film the person doing the other voice. And kpt them really short, maybe something to consider?
Hate to sound like a twat, but the WKD has been done before, I remember seeing it at a Popcorn Comedy night a while back:

Thanks for pointing it out but ours pre-dates that by some time...

Funny, I used that Nil By Mouth clip for something of my own recently. Pop eating itself and all that...
