Loved DeNiro's biscuits, WKD and Grange Hill.

What the frig is the film with Bob Hoskins glassing someone in the neck, by the way?

The Liam Neeson one was so funny, for me the best of the bunch, the straight acting on the phone really pulled it off.
Al Pacino one was excellent too, not least as the actor did the straight bit so well, his voice reminded me of someone...annoying me who though.
De Niro one, great, though I'd have said the closest biscuit to a malted milk was a Sport!

Looking froward to more of these.

I thought it was The Long Good Friday, but I may be wrong.

Nope you're right one of the best British gangster films ever.

Really enjoyed that. Great work, all involved.

I have an idea for a skit along similar lines to these. Would love to pitch it in your direction.

Bo.

Hi Bo. Truth be told, what you've seen is a bunch of sketches independently produced by Stuart and I over the years that just so happen to fit a theme. At this stage we've no plans to shoot any additional material - that would only happen were a series to be commissioned.

If you've got a great idea why not put it together yourself - it's so easy to do nowadays.

Thanks! Stuart Laws is the guy on the phone in the Pacino sketch.

I thought it was The Long Good Friday.

Correct!

I've got no criticism mainly for the fact that I don't think I could produce anything that good.

The Bacon one was my favourite. Similar to Mitchell and Webb and it also reminds me of when I was a kid!

2 Breakfast Club self indulgent, too long and a really odd almost perverse joke
3 Charlie says, very funny, well put together. But isn't this going to date?
8 Terminator joke. Sorry a bit self indulgent and obscure.

I Hope this helps.

Breakfast Club - disagree, it's very funny; maybe I'd clip one or two of the collapsing things at the end, but that's it.

Charlie Says- Agree - very funny, but it's a topical thing, and is now very dated.

Terminator - Disagree, I showed Ripped to someone and they loved that. Me too.

Thanks for watching, Toby.

Without the collapsing building I could view it working as a short interstition on a music channel. But maybe more like 15-30 seconds.

More that it works if you get the reference and less and less people do. You don't want to be too niche.

nb

if you're filming any more sketches. How about my fine "Mr Metz" I'm happy to play Mr Metz but some one else would have to provide the pets.

I think a large enough section of the audience would, just not the very young. Plus I think you should always go with what YOU think is funny, rather than trying to second guess what an imaginary audience might 'get'. If it tickles you, it'll probably connect with others too.

True obviously, but I included it to show the sort of thing we'd be capable of were we to be given the chance to make more episodes. I always like seeing animation in sketch shows.

Like I said to Bo above, we're not planning on shooting any more material for this unless someone pays us to.

I'm working on cutting this down now. And adding in some exploding heads of course.

Ah, thanks. Shall have to see it. (Not just because I like spurty blood.)

I think the Grange Hill ending is hilarious. I'd be happy with 3 or 4 of them in a half hour show.

I'm a fan too, and I can say that because I had absolutely nothing to do with the making of it. There's a whole raft of them too - enough to end each episode of a series with.

Hurrah!

Well it takes all sorts to make a world.

And that's what critiques for.
