Sketch Writing Competition - The Darkly Show

We are 'The Darkly Show', a new sketch group, and we're looking for writers to submit sketches to us. The prize is having your sketch made, and we'll give you a full writing credit at the end of the sketch. The criteria for your submission is straightforward: it should be funny (of course), under 3 pages and try to keep the props and settings simple. Have a look at our other sketches to get a feel for what we're after...

Hi Michael, I sent a sketch last night. If you have the time, could you send me a bit of feedback please? Was probably the first sketch I've ever written. Cheers :-).

Word, PDF or celtx is fine by us. In the interests of fairness we'll give feedback at the end of the comp. If you just remember to ask nearer the time...

So, my entries have been sent in. It's the old hungry hippos game for me now.

"...Stop! Oh yes, play hungry hungry hippos Mr Postman...!"

I think this could run and run. Though I can't think of another one.

Sounds good. How many sketches will you be filming? Is there one overall winner or will you be making several? Rich : )
