I think you can say what you like about Scotland.
Oh RC, you've been doing so well at not indulging your own personal take on eugenics lately
Eating red meat regularly 'dramatically increases the risk of death from heart disease'
Two rashers of bacon a day raises the odds of dying from heart disease and cancer by 20 per cent, a study has claimed.
No new findings there, except the percentages look very scary.
I don't eat the stuff.

'Red meat' and two rashers of bacon are not the same thing. A rasher of bacon is 50% fat, fresh pork is between 10 and 20% fat.
What does count as red meat? I'm never sure.

It's not too scary, not that many people eat red meat every single day, and that has all the oil to cook it with and presumably is eaten with potatoes and not salad, etc, and if people are eating large amounts then are they working in a physically stressful job that makes them that hungry, etc. Lifestyle percentages are never that simple.
Not that I partake

Native americans.
I don't eat many of them.
So if I cut out red meat from my diet, stop smoking, stop drinking and get plenty of exercise, I will live forever and ever?
Looking forward to this new wave of uber healthy old people getting to experience Alzheimers for a full 30 years. No wonder they're getting rid of all our pensions.
No but it'll feel like it
