Well, earlier on you were suggesting that people who express strong feelings about one subject without expressing strong feelings about another were disregarding the other issue. You implied that not talking about related issues meant that people didn't care about the related issues.

If you say "christianity is a homophobic religion" with out saying "islam is a homophobic religion" or even "most religions are homophobic"

I think that's regional bias rather than not giving a crap about Islamic attitudes to homosexuality. It's headline news because it's happening in the UK.
*I also care about what Jews, Buddhists, Scientologists, Wiccans, Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Satanists think about homosexuality.
