Sorry I've no real issue here at all it's just the formless remark which (and I know you didn't intend it too but) sounded arrogant. Somehow linking the word formless to format / medium is just incorrect.
Personally I start my thought process with "I think that's funny" not "I think thats a funny radio sketch". Look at the number of competitions in the critique section where people enter purely for fun. How many of the sketches on the critique are ever finished to a stage where they are sent to production cvompanies etc. I'd guess very few. For many on this forum its just fun trying to be funny to the audience they have here, which is its own unique family format.
Now I think I understand that you take writing comedy very seriously James, and TBH you are one of the better writers here and will probably go on to have some sort of writing career. For quite a few I guess its probably just a bit of light relief, and have life that won't revolve around the constant rejection that depression a real writer must endure to endure.
