What are you reading right now? Page 148

So long, and thanks for all the fish

Hard going....

You read the others first, right?

Of course!

I may be daft but I'm not stupid

:D I've always said that about you lofthouse ;)

I adore Douglas Adams but did get fatigued reading them all in one go, had to go back and read them as individual sections of the 'trilogy' to really enjoy.

Oh I have left it a few months between each one

Enjoyed the first three

But the first 100 pages of this final part has me yawning quite frankly

I'm sure it'll pickup soon ...

The mammoth book of native Americans

Very interesting

and incredibly sad and depressing

The Tale of Peter Rabbit

I'm a very advanced reader for my age.

When Douglas Adams says to only read the last 30 pages as it's fun and has Marvin in it.

He meant it.

I kinda felt like Marvin during most of that book

Please tell me you enjoyed the last 30 pages, because that is kinda sweet.

I do love 2HG2TG.

It some how describes a time in the 80s, as well as being fine and that thing comedy does so rarely. It was wise.

The mammoth book of native Americans

Give it back! Mammoth's are notoriously posessive of their books.

God I was reading that at lunch today

Horrific

Hell on earth

eh?

It's about the ungodly shit that went down with the Indians and the puritans, English etc when us whites turned up

Detailed accounts of the slaughter and massacres and butchery that was done by both sides

Don't believe the shit you see on Bonanaza!

Unbelievable suffering

Sum by David Eagleman. Utterly gorgeous

Gareth Roberts, who has written several current Who episodes, and Sarah Jane eps, has written a novel based on 'Shada'; a Douglas Adams penned Tom Baker adventure that was abandoned during filming and never completed:
