Congrats to those on the list. As it was my first submission I would have been more suprised seeing myself on it than not.
But I shall try and try again. Working on a new sketch right now.
Yes, very well done to those whose material was chosen, especially given the great mumber of would-be contributers. That's e-mail for you.
In the old days submissions had to be sent in by post,
and then you waited to hear if any of your one-liners got performed on the programme. None of this Writers List in advance business. The classics for non-coms back then were Weekending and The Huddlines. In Scotland it was Naked Radio. Good old BBC sent a minutely printed contract for each gag, even specifying the 'Title and Length of Work' Eg Kwik-Fit 17 seconds.
And there was a repeat fee if the programme went out twice in the week.
Never having had anything on NewsJack, does the BBC still give repeat fees?
Thanks all. No email as yet, so I was just in mid-curse and throwing things at the telly when Steve posted 'congrats'.
Well done all others on there too.
Badge! Two in two! Nice one!
Dan
D'oh! I got THAT email .
I feel the exact opposite to Bruce Forsythe about this week's audience and last week's .
\o/ Chuffed again. Congrats Dude, Dan 6/6 (a bit late ), John K and other lurkers. Commiserations to the rest.

Not much consolation, but this made me laugh.

For Newsjack, it's two broadcasts, i.e. first showing (tonight) and one repeat.

I didn't get THAT email or THAT email this week but I did manage to get that email. Unfortunately that email was just from Papa Johns. Alas no broadcast credit for me but maybe some free garlic bread....
Nothing for me this week.
Well done Dan and the others who got stuff on though.

Just spotted this and thought it deserves a special 'well done!' The first one's always a massive thrill.
Seems like BCG has scored a few again this week.
Congrats all
Well done all
Especially Sweryt 6 out of 6 D
And new regular Badge
Ta. Not got an email yet though! Hoping I am actually in!

So that's 2 out of 2 this series in terms of making it to the theatre.
Only 4 to go.....can he make it 6 out of 6?
No pressure.
(I'm also going for 6 out of 6. Not the same 6 out of 6 as you)
Anyone else in the "One Credit" Club?
I got Two in Watsons Wind Ups
However they did cancel the show straight after my second one.
