But there's L plus UGH and bing a comedy website did your brain not work out what was missing? Granted it is struggling a bit but I could see why he was trying to sell it here.

No, my brain at first assumed it was spam. Like all the other spam trying to sell something entirely unrelated to comedy that we see and get rid of, usually before you lot even see it.

:)

Me too!

If he'd bought L4UGH, then I could see someone willing to pay money for it. But L12UGH isn't much cop, even when you defocus your eyeballs, it still doesn't look that much like LAUGH.

As I say maybe £1.80.

My car is worth quite a bit less than the asking price for that reg plate. That's no laughing matter.

Makes no sense, L4 UGH would work though, although it would probably be illegal.

Who buys personalised number plates anyway? Aren't we in a recession?

Ah, yes.

I managed to sell a number plate once. Can't remember exactly what it was or why but I got a few quid although there was the hassle of getting a new one.

No mean feat for someone of your age.

Ha ha. Edited previous post.

Agents of top comics should be this gentlemans port of call.

Add a zero to the price as well.

I can imagine certain comedians like Peter Kay wanting a novelty numberplate.

Really? Peter Kay would be the last person I'd imagine having one.

Jimmy Tarbuck did have COM 1C though... I'd have thought he is just the type.

Ha. I think he'd find it hilarious.

The 'last' person I can imagine having one would be someone like Charlie Brooker.

I get the impression he'd rather not have the attention.

The 'last' person I can imagine having one would be St Francis of Assisi.
