The North London derby was fantastic. Van Persie is an absolute machine.

Just when I'm about to write Arsenal off for good, they go and pull off a fantastic win against Spurs of all teams.

The downside of this stupendous win is that it has given me false hope that we'll smash 5 past Milan and progress in the Champions League. It's not going to happen and we'll probably lose 3-1, but the stupid optimist in me won't face reality.

I have to admit I looked at the correct score market for the Milan match after yesterday's game. I've made a note that Arsenal to win 6-1 is a 375/1 shot. Stranger things have happened. (Not many, admittedly)

If we beat Milan 6-1 then I'd expect us to build a new Arsene Wenger statue at The Emirates - but not like a normal one - sort of Statue of Liberty sized and when you press a button, lasers shoot out of his eyes or something.

I don't get betting on your own team. If they win you're happy. What you need to do is bet on the other team so that if you lose you're happy too.

I always have a bet on England winning something like the Euros. That way if they lose I'm happy and don't mind £20 down the swuff and if they win I'm happy 'cos I make a couple of bob !

:D

Swap 'Arsenal' for 'Albion' and it's another winner.

Gah! Of course!

:)

AVB was a crazy appointment in the first place. Still the lad has made a few quid, not bad for nine months "work"

What money on a return for Jose?

It's Di Matteo until the end of the season...so Mourinho is a possibility.

Although, Gary Megson is now available...

Athough Jose does obviously want Man United, depends how long AF is likely to go on for.
