I've just seen... Page 258

Highwaymen. Not great film about a serial killer who kills people with his car, and more proof that outside of Duel there aren't any Scary Car films.

Except Christine.

Except Christine.

Laughing out loud

And Dude, Where's My Car

Although I have yet to see Riding The Bullet and Dolan's Cadillac, so maybe they'll change my mind on the Scary Car Film front.

:O

'Eagle'. Probably a load of rubbish but the scenery was nice.

Going through my superhero phase and after enjoying the brainless fun of X-Men: First Class and Thor, I decided to give Captain America a go - wish I hadn't, probably one of the worst films I've seen in a while. The only consolation was that a mate of mine had a bit part in the movie.

Speaking of mates, my friend Sean has refused to buy anymore Johnny Depp DVDs, he said the last three he got were pirates.

13. French thriller about an immigrant who inadvertantly winds up taking part in an illicit Russian Roulette tournament. Starts a bit pretentiously, like one of those old Big Train sketches, but once it gets going it's pretty tense.

:D

'The Company Men'. A bit depressing in view of the predicament of people I know.

This is the scariest car film ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoAD3kUmN9s

Blast From The Past. I forgot what a sweet film it was. Great dance sequence too. I like a good bit of dancing in a film.

I've not seen it, although it does star my second favourite Brolin. I always thought it was a rip off of Christine, but I see it predates it by about six years.

Ghost in the Shell. It was pretty good, but not quite as brilliant as its reputation suggests.

Manderlay - Anti-American liberal-baiting from Lars Von Trier. Not bad, but too long.

Winter's Bone - Hillybilly noir. Not bad, but too long.

Amelie - Should be nauseating but actually incredibly sweet. Too long, mind.
