This idea of a flaky crust is new to me. I'm not saying it's not nice. I'm just very used to doughy/soft pizza bases. You don't get many (or I haven't seen any) restaurants advertising their "flaky" crusts.
I did make myself a puff pastry pizza not long ago though and that was very nice. I don't normally follow the serving suggestions on the box but on that occasion I did not regret it.
