Um, I can't see where they drew their official statistics from. But even if what you are saying is true and that transgendered people are more likely to be murdered then young black men in America (which is debatable at best) - most of the attacks occured on the street.
This probably has more to do with prostitution and crime then any sort of TG backlash. Live on the streets, deal drugs, mix with bad people, then trans or not, your chances of getting murdered leap up the charts.

Your second source said that there were 38 murders in the United States over the course of 3 years. One murder per month in a nation of 311 million people isn't even close to a 1 in 12 murder rate unless the transgender population is only a handful of people.

Well I doubt they plucked the figures out of thin air. You have to consider the difference in the populations of trans people and black male Americans - of course more black male Americans are murdered, but as a percentage of the population the figures may be similar.
Indeed, a lot of those murdered were sex workers, but I wonder how the figures of trans sex workers getting murdered and other sex workers getting murdered would tally. Not sure there is information on that.
