I understood that our BCG 'names' would only be changed for a valid reason e.g. a member who used to post under their real name having an opportunity at the BBC and might not want a Google search pulling up anti-BBC posts.
Of late Ruby and Lee have changed their names for reasons unknown and as that function is only available to Mods this seems a bit elitist?
Or am I just being a knob.
It means they have jobs at the beeb! Rooface!, L.E and Lee, you know I lurve you immensely, don't you?
I think quite a few have done this in the past. So you could change yours to knob.

I'm not a mod. Do you think in a million years Aaron or Mark would put me in charge? How long would I last trying to ignore the urge to mess with everyone's usernames and avatars, fill the forum with pictures of puppies, and out Sooty as gay?
I asked Mark to change my name because it was too long. He agreed as in the past my name was RubyMae - Glamourous snowdrop at large. Aaron had already shortened in during my time off.

We only allow the changing of user names for serious reason, such as concerns related to employment and personal privacy.
I just like to abuse things. Be it young kids or my mod privileges.
