I've just seen an email telling me I am going to be a world book night book giver and will have 25 copies of Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman to give away.

I avoided applying the first year as I for some reason assumed it must be some horrific thing like an Anne Summers party where you'd have to invite 25 random strangers to your house and hand out the books.

A zooo-hosted Anne Summers party would be quite an event.

Stories of its horrific events would be passed down through the generations...

I've been to one or two. Not so scary when you are at someone's house with women you know but being in a function room with 30 other women and an open bar on a hen night is scary.

I love that book. The bit with the bucket of Holy Water is classic!

Death of a Salesman. Not bad. Although you'd be hard pressed to find two more depressing characters in fiction than Willie and Biff Loman.

In Depth Review Time:

'Attack The Block': Fun.

'Young Adult': Very good.

You will have to read "Spot's trip to the vet" to find out.

No rude bits but not really for work....

Tomorrow when the war began.

Why the hell would you remake Red Dawn in Australia with a bunch of Neighbours rejects?

Flipping awful.

The Girl Who Played With Fire. Not as good as Dragon Tattoo but still a pretty decent crime drama. And always good to see Noomi Rapace zipping about like a sexy velociraptor.

The Green Butchers. Danish film about two misfit butchers who start selling human meat. Not bad, but League of Gentlemen did it better.

Lucian Freud thingy on iPlayer..

Not convinced..

Not yet watched but have watched docs' about him, do love his art work, He is strange guy.
