OK Da Butt, if people do take anything/thread serious how do people know?
Don't you get it? People here are friends who feel comfortable joking with each other. Imagine this scenario:
You and a couple of female friends are gathered around the water cooler at the office, having a laugh about the male of the species and someone mentions that the world would be a better place if men thought with their brains instead of their penises. Everyone laughs, but a man standing in the hall takes offence. Rather than let human nature take its course, he castigates you and your friends and reports you to the company's political correctness police. Even though you try to explain to him that it was just harmless banter amongst friends, he continues to rail against it and tries to raise a posse of likeminded folk to stamp out such harmless banter.
^This is what you seem to be attempting.
Why do you not question others who are far more provocative and crude in their remarks to me? Sure you could sort those guys out? Maybe you don't want to.
I'd like everyone to be friendly to each other and allow those with different opinions to speak their minds. That said, I feel little sympathy for someone embarked on a campaign to brand others as misogynists, as I think this is a very friendly and understanding forum and I have not seen a hint of actual misogyny in the many years that I've frequented this corner of the Internet.
