Lee and zooo: Thanks for your nice words too, I really appreciate them. I'm not shore that I see the resemblance with Asterix, but if it does exist that's just great. Asterix has been one of our favourite comics since we were just toddlers. 
I think the strip is very good indeed. I would send samples of your work to various newspapers on the off chance that one of them thinks it will work in their publication.

My initial thought was compounded by your "giant-lying-down" which made me think of the "old-man-up-a-lamppost" in "Waking Life"..

I agree with Bob. Sunday papers could be a good fit - the tone is a bit reflective, which probably fits better to a weekend, maybe?

Badge: Sunday papers sounds like a very good idea to me. Since I'm not familiar with the newspapers in the UK, do you or anyone else have advice about where I could turn to begin with? To get an overview of different sunday papers, for example?
