The Unofficial BCG Meet in Edinburgh 2012.

I move back to Edinburgh in two and a half weeks. If anyone is going to be stopping by for this year's festival let me know. I know the city very well and I like a pint! ;)

:) Would love that Bob, but a bit too far again, rail prices etc.
I have planned a weekend in Newcastle, searching website for cheapest rail fares.

I'm hoping to be there.

Not sure when.

There is plenty of time until the Festival and I intend to keep using this site. As long as I have at least a days notice I am sure it will be possible to arrange a meet up for a pint and/or a show :)

Just avoid sootyj's Edinburgh Tribute to Channel 4's Skins. I don't think he spent a lot of time researching the character names.

You forgot the kid in the wheelchair, labelled "raspberry"..

Laughing out loud <----- Thats one of those "Its not funny but I couldn't help laughing" LOLs!

If its part of the "Free" festival I might be tempted to give it a butchers :)

Is anyone planning on doing a show (or being part of one) this year?

I know I won't be ready for even a 5 minute open mic spot by then but I will be up for filming any shows if it can help anyone out.....?

sooty is doing Glee next year...and then he's going to Edinburgh.

Yeh I've got plenty of shit to smear all over the stage and throw at the audience...metaphorically...usually.

C'mon though 5 minutes, you've got it in you, let it out

Is this directed at me? *Not sure emoticon*!

Its too early to know if I will be any good or even if I will enjoy stand up. I want to do it to overcome some fears and as research for a script I am writing. Its not an ambition as such....

Cool, cool I just think it's important not to fix too much on the writing. Persona and timing only come with stage time.

'Mali Scrounger'? Did they just make that one up at the last minute 'cos they had one kid too many?

Yeh should have called him
"Too hated and irrelevant to have a proper nickname c**t."
