Are you actually that intrigued into the intamacy of my relationship?

Not really I kinda type things at random.

Have you not noticed that yet?

Aw, Frasier. I'm trying to go for as long as possible before I watch that again. It's been about 3 years so far. No doubt it'll be a waste of time but anyway, I watched the f**k out of it when it used to air anyway.

I'm beginning to think that the scientists have lied to us and that we've entered a new ice age.

The Olympic Park is just a cover, all that money was spent on a special underground shelter beneath the stadiums full of lovely heated things and the pool is the water supply. The Queen, David Cameron and Boris Johnson are on there way now. Leaving us peons to freeze to death on the surface.

Come to Australia. It's summer here. where I live it's around 30c most days at the moment. It sometimes feels worse though because of the humdity. At least in the cold you can curl up under the blankets with a hot drink and the heating on.

I think DaButt was also complaining about the heat from his part of the world earlier in the thread.

Coming from a country where the word 'drizzle' not only exists as a weather term but makes up 98% of the daily forecast, it is hard to feel sorry for you.

Then again, what the hell is happening to Queensland? Are they all Devil worshippers? Why does God hate them so much? Earthquakes, floods, fires - it's never ending for those poor people.

Noooooooooooooooo!

Laughing out loud

No snow at all, just rain and lots of mud so my living room has a paw print motif.

There's been no earthquakes or major fires recently in QLD as far as I know ( I live there). Certainly had more than our fare share of flooding in the last year though.
There is a major investigation going on at the moment regarding the flooding in Brisbane last year. There are claims that some of the damage could have been prevented if a particular dam was managed better during that time. The belief is that if certain people had done their jobs correctly during that time the flooding wouldn't have been as bad in Brisbane.

Franlkly I will be glad in just over a month when the investigation is over and the state election has been held.

Earthquake 14th April 2011 - 5.2 Queensland between Ayr and Bowen. 72 dead from floods in Queensland from December 2010 onwards. Or are minor earthquakes and floods just shrugged off because you are all so tough?

You are right about the fires though. Everywhere else in Oz but not Queensland.

EDIT: You did mention the floods, I hate it when one of my points gets ruined by other people being correct and factual.

Luckily in that earthquake there were no reports of death or injury. The floods in 2010/2011 were devastating though. I feel lucky that the worst that happened to me during that time was that the road out of the town where I was on holidays got cut off for a day and that a few weeks later when they hit the city I live, I just couldn't go to work for a day or so.
