Not the first Italian to abandon a sinking ship recently.

My sister came up with that. Gutted. :D

Laughing out loud @ Nilsis

Also, Dalglish commenting after the Spurs game that Suarez shouldn't have been banned for 3 matches too. Disgusting.

I'd hardly call it disgusting.
I don't hink a boss sticking up for his player is that bad.

There were things recently that were disgusting.
Behaviour of a minority of fans in grounds. as a result of this & other high profile cases for example
& I hope those morons are banned for life.

Well I thought his remarks were disgraceful, he's supposed to be a role model. If he doesn't get behind the FA and backs his player, already found to be wrong, what example does that set to the fans?

But they say that a lot.
What example does that set to the fans.
We could all probably name 50 things straight away about football that set a worse example to a fan many of which wouldn't even be considered bad at all.

There are a lot of despicable things that go on which are racist or racially motivated. I just wish the focus they gave on these things were proportionate & constructive.

Racist.

Doesn't make it right though, surely. And bedding a granny, shagging someone's wife or getting pissed and fighting someone in the street aren't in the same league, pun intended, as racist actions. Although they're all things I wouldn't do personally.

It's a hot potato alright.

As soon as I saw the interview I thought they are going to make a big deal out of that.
He would have been better not to say it.
But disgusting?
Misguided maybe, a bit foolish perhaps knowing that people are going to jump all over things.
But I don't think it was disgusting.

Well, I've not heard anyone else mention it, but there you go.
It's disgusting, imo, that he's not said it was wrong but has said his player should not have been reprimanded.

Anyway... here for 'comedy' so...

*farts or something*

*checks for signs of something*
All clear.

:D

It is Nil and it shows weakness on the FA's part that he hasn't been charged.

Statement by Liverpool FC on 3rd January when they decided not to appeal Suarez's ban: "It is time to put the Luis Suarez matter to rest..."

Kenny Dalglish interviewed later that evening: "There's a lot of things we'd love to say...but there's a huge restraint on us, what we can say and we can't say"

Kenny Dalglish interviewed this Monday: "It's fantastic to have him (Suarez) back. He should never have been out in the first place."

Well done for putting it to rest, Kenny!

I think we can leave it to others not to put it to rest.

You wouldn't let it lie!
