Don't knock it, they'll probably set you up in a London flat.

:D

In The Cut. Turgid "erotic thriller" starring Meg Ryan and Mark Ruffalo. It features an erect penis, but no actual dramatic tension or excitement.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

The best film I've seen in the last 5 years bar none. It was f**king brilliant.

Groundhog Day. Again.

Really? My mate is one of the biggest Planet of the Apes fans ever and even he said it was just 'okay'.

He liked the apes, but thought the human characters had nothing to do and that the story was so-so. He also said that some of the CGI took him out of the action.

I kind of dampened his spirits a bit by reminding him that a handful of illiterate poachers in Africa have almost completely wiped out the gorilla population and that any 'uprising' in modern America would have lasted all of 30 seconds.

I'm sure I've seen this joke before. And this one. And this one. This one. This one. Oh, and this one...

I loved it. I didn't care about the lack of humans in it or their lack of development. It was Caesars movie, and I was on the edge of my seat and actually shouting "FUCKING HELL!!" Usually I do stuff on laptop whilst watching films.

I can name on 1 hand the amount of films that have interested me or actually engaged me enough to put the laptop down and get involved in the story in the last 10 years.

Then I'm pleased for you. Not enough of those kind of films around these days.

Is this the one with Lee's avatar in, or was that another monkey film.

That's the one. Although I haven't seen it yet :$

Unknown. You can't beat a bit of Liam Neeson huffing and puffing about the place. Entertaining twaddle.

2012. A long, boring slice of apocalypse porn. Although there are a couple of not bad set pieces along the way.

I mean they'd have just bombed the hairy f**kers and burnt the woods to kill any survivors.
