Here in Britain, a lot of people go to the pub to watch the big games, especially the World Cup. Inevitably, there are women at the pubs too, which before and after the game is fine. Who doesn't like women?

However, (and it's normally the attractive ones), at some point during the game, they will deliberately walk in front of the big screen in a desperate attempt for attention.

Unfortunately, the male attention is always hostile.

Why is that unfortunate? If they're doing it just for attention that's all they deserve!

Depending on just how hostile...? If they are getting routinely murdered that's going a little far.

The wives are an attractive lot but the pubs and bars are too far away and asking a woman to drive us would be tantamount to asking the pope to drive us to the strip club.

The no-girls theme will work wonderfully. The wives have already vowed to make Monday a "no-men-allowed ladies night" and they felt very smug indeed until I reminded them that a night away from the women was just another men's night.

I guess some people can't go 45 minutes without attention. Men are equally guilty in other areas, especially when you see them trying to show off.
