The BBC Writersroom and BBC Comedy Commissioning has launched a new sitcom writing competition. The object of this show is to write a studio-based sitcom. Amongst the judges they include Dawn French.
Submissions to be submitted between 1st-21st March.

Just get my 'Jesting About' rejection. Sitcommission and Red Planet rejections are probably on their way, so my atrophying body tentatively suggests: 'Hey, nothing to write - why not go outside and get some fresh air?'

This looks like another 'Laughing Stock' competition but specifically for Studio audience. Me likey.
I'll probably enter. I've got something, but if it's for studio, it needs to have more 'gags' for sure. Can be sorted, providing it's not too crap of course!
I've certainly got an idea for a script that I'd submit, so I'd probably enter.

I had one ready for just such an emergency. It is now printed off an ready to post tomorrow.
