There has been a huge shift in the US firearms / survival market to label everything as 'zombie'. What started as a novelty has become big business and it's a lot more sinister then you think.
The survival types in America are using the term zombie as a catch all phrase to cover anyone and anything they don't like - Federal Government, ethnic groups, left wingers, Muslims, etc.
Ironically, by labelling everything as 'zombie' it immediately becomes a PC expression and is viewed by most people as a bit of fun. You attract less attention if you call your heavily armed para-military style survival group anti-Zombie instead of anti-Muslim.
