So is it right to presume that William isn't going to kill himself really and therefore mock him?
Or would it be better to play along with what is quite possibly a cruel joke just incase we stop a genuine suicidee from comminting suicide?
Or thirdly we could decide that even if he is going to kill himself we can't stop him so we might aswell have fun at his expense?
If he's serious, he should do what Rooface suggested.
If he's pissing around, it's in highly bad taste and not remotely funny.
When someone's that far away, all you can do is encourage them to help themselves. Call the Samaritans, reach out like Roo says. Suicide should never be a joke, not for us to make if we doubt that someone is suicidal or for the OP to perhaps have made. William, I sincerely hope that you reach out, get better, and stay alive if you're really in this situation. If not, what you posted isn't funny, because suicide is not a joke.
