No I think berating minor celebrities on an internet forum firmly established your sociapth status a long time ago.

Well I wouldn't put it past him...
*sniggers*

I miss Leevil.
Quote: sootyj @ January 28 2012, 12:04 PM GMTI did they show Ofcom isn't fit for purpose.
He contributed just a little to children and adults getting bullied.
He was wrong Ofcom was wrong.
It's fair enough to mention that being such a public figure he shouldn't have used that word. But is it any far different from another of us calling each other an idiot or crazy? The word "Mong" had lost it's original meaning until someone pointed out it was a baaad word. Now everyone associates it with that again.
In the same way Yid, Nigger, Paki or whore never lose their strength.
Except women, asians, Jews can make some claim that hate crime against them is starting to abate. The same can not be said of disability hate crime.
And the way he expressed it wasn't some clever ironic joke. It was used to mock someone who had learning disabilities.
For f**ks sake this isn't funny.

Is Godot Taxis a minor celebrity now?
Cool.

But it had.
Gah. Said I wasn't going to get drawn into this ridiculous issue again. *runs off*
Quote: zooo @ January 28 2012, 12:05 PM GMTAnd sooty is all-knowing.
In limited areas less ignorant.
Like having known people who've been assaulted for being learning disabled.

Why does every inane utterance, by some millionare comic to lazy to write decent material have to be defended?

Who???
Susan Boyle.
I'm actually intrigued why you're arguing with me?

Because I hate mongs.
And oh, I didn't realize he called her a mong, I thought it was his general use of the word mong we we discussing. Well that's bad then. No excuse. Although it still doesn't explain how every other bugger can get away with using Susan as the butt of all their jokes. Because no one is making fun of her voice, are they?

When someone on here does that, I'll let you know.

Silly. It's fine for people to mock her, as long as they don't use a certain word.
Jesus, you make one stupid little joke using the word "Gervais" and people start taking offence.
Lighten-up, people! The meaning of the word "Gervais" has changed over the years. It doesn't mean the same thing it used to.

We used to use the word spacker rather than mong up North. Maybe Mong is more a southern insult.

But it would still be an unacceptable word to use up North, even if you had been on the pull in Newcastle on a Friday night.
