Well I certainly wouldn't seek out any of his other films, but I have honestly never noticed that he was rubbish in Bad Boys!
I've just seen... Page 238

chipolata is never allowed to comment on cinema related matters ever again. Even Claudia Winkleman knows more about films then Chip.
I bet she knows more than you too!
I think you should have a film off.

Yes.
Although I'm not sure how this would come about...

Hey, The Rock, Bad Boys and Armageddon are fun films. And, it pains me to say it, I even got a kick out of the first Transformers movie.

Every director has some good and bad work. I used to think James Cameron was a cinema God until Titanic and Avatar came along. Same with John Carpenter.
Unfortunately for Bay, his early films were entertaining fluff and he's become progessively worse.
Knight vs Pirate on The Deadliest Warrior
Shall I watch it?

No, the Deadliest Warrior is the most historically inaccurate show ever created.
Titanic is a great film.

Aliens and Terminator are amazing. But if you liked True Lies you can't not like The Rock!

Well, he has. And the last two Transformers movies were bloated monstrosities. But on your other point, downward trajectory is the path most artists careers take. See Woody Allen, Ricky Gervais and basically everyone for further details.

I did enjoy The Rock, I really liked the chemistry between Connery and Cage. Though I still want to know what that string dispenser in the hotel room shower was for if not for dangling FBI agents over balconies?
