Aw. It's one of those things I always plan to do, but hardly ever get around to.
It's cold and dark out there, y'know.

Aaron owes me fifty bucks for ensuring that he never again has to pay for a night out on the town.
Ha, you should donate it to Leevil, for his bank mishap.
I saw a reeeeally red planet last night, very near the moon. But not sure which it was. Mars? Venus? Sirius? Jupiter? What I need is a rentable Brian Cox.
Jupiter was quite near the moon last night
And Venus is easy to spot at the moment
Just as the sun is setting it's the first & only starlike thing you see in the sky until it get's darker & the others join in
I shall have a look. This was about 3am though. Bloody sky keeps moving around all night, never know where anything is supposed to be.

It all rotates around the Pole Star. Locate that and everything radiates out from there.
Ah. Why can't I know stuff?

I happen to live in Brian Cox's wardrobe. You can pick a lot up that way. Not just his dirty socks either.
*Bad Brian Cox voice:
Suppose you imagine that this Roscoff is a dwarf star & this police car is a black hole.
See how the dwarf star is dragged into the black holes gravitational pull. and my foot can probably represent an asteroid as I kick him in the arse on his way down the stairs
Venus is very bright in the sky tonight.
Jupiter's quite near it as well.

Indeed, they make a lovely sight together.
Nice big yellowish Moon tonight.
With Jupiter nearby.
A bit cloudy, but that added to the atmosphere.
