Did anyone see this? Was it as awful as it sounds?

I didn't see it.
I've always wondered if after about 5 or 6 kids, can you possibly give each one enough time to make it worthwhile having it in the first place? You can't have enough time to hang out with them and enjoy their company. Don't you just turn into an animal, churning them out?

I see the appeal of having a big family and stuff, but 15 kids seems a tad extreme!

Yeah, it does seem a shame. And very expensive!

Check out Borgen, a sort of Danish West Wing, without self-congratulatory earnestness. Great actress in the lead as nice PM Birgitte having to learn very quickly what a ruthless nasty business clinging onto political power is.

My neighbors are a wonderful Mormon family and the wife just announced that she's expecting child 7 or 8. They're very involved in the neighborhood and both parents spend a lot of time with the kids and everyone seems perfectly happy and well-adjusted.

The kids have a choice of being home schooled or attending public school so they spend plenty of time with the parents during the years that they choose to be home schooled.

Okay, that sounds acceptable. Change zooo's upper acceptability limit to 'about 7'.

But no more, y'hear?

I was one of six (two familes merging, my Mum didn't pop them all out), which was more or less fine, but 15 is clearly mental.

Any more than 2 children is just greedy and wrong.

I don't visit these boards to read posts about Stott's mom's womb.

Strangely enough it's what attracted me here in the first place.

Are you, perchance, one of two children?

Coincidentally, I think 3 is the optimum number.

It's just a shame you always select that .05 of a real person to be the Republican president.

There seems something joyless and unhealthy about anyone having so many kids.

You never feel special and never have much choice. And one of the thick bints was homeschooling the kids (despite probably finding Something Special to special to follow).

nb all families were white and nominally Christian agnostic. No giant Muslim, black or Rumanian families?

Hmmmmm

Hey USA me love you long time, me so horny, me .02 hornier than UK.

Watching the Hairy Bikers for some reason. Always find it distubing that they never wear hair nets when they're cooking. I imagine you'd spend half the meal pulling long oily hairs out of your mouth.

'mmm, this spaghetti is lovely'

'why aye man, I gave you tomato soup!'

Sick
