Mrs Will Cam had it on with the dog, it seemed well acted and easy enough to watch.

you northern types are diferent

Anyone else watch Call the Midwife? I really enjoyed it, nice bit of 1950's drama to get lost in. Miranda Hart popped up at the end in a trailer for next weeks episode, playing what looks to be a jolly hockeysticks student midwife...asked if she can ride a bike, she replies 'I can ride a horse, can't be much difference' :D
Looking forward to more of this.

Some how if it was about Vera Drake I think it would have been more fun.

Paxman whinging at Homerton "You never listen to me...!" Aww poor Jezzer.

He may take his question cards and go home in a minute.

Stargazing Live now.

Griff Rhys jones on BBC 1

Stargazing Live now.

I'm watching this and wondering why it's live? Is this like Springwatch for astronomy nerds?

At least eminent scientist Dara O'Briain is doing a good job of looking at everyone with a quizzical scowl.

It's just interesting isn't it? :D :P

Didn't he do physics at Uni, earlier in his life? But he does a good job of looking ignorant. :D

'Why does...everything?'

BBC types think a programme is more accessible if there is someone pretending to be stupid - you know, like a viewer.

If the BBC remade Civilization now Lord Clark would have Reginald D. Hunter stood next to him laughing at the honky with all the big words.

Illuminations: The Private Lives of Medieval Kings on BBC4. This Dr Janina Ramirez is gawky sex on a history stick.

Does she still have the same cameraman?

Quote: Timbo @ August 24 2010, 8:16 PM GMT

Treasures of the Anglo-Saxons, on BBC2; presented by a chubby Goth with the stilted annunciation of a Blue Peter presenter; and directed by a footwear fetishist obsessed with ground level shots of her stiletto heeled boots. She has just explained Hadrian's Wall by saying the "Romans quite liked building walls", or rather shouting it above the traffic as she stands beside what is presumably the only wall she could find to illustrate what a wall is.

She does sound quite sexy though when she speaks old English. She keeps putting herself in the way of images projected onto a screen, so that her exposed face and arms look like they have been tattooed; we would be able to appreciate the rest of the image so much better if she was to take off her dress.

What? This thing? Eh?

'...and next up BBC4, a piece of liver introduces the history of British roundabouts...'

Cor, did you see that piece of liver, I'd shag that.

Seriously dudes, raise the bar just a little on your lady choices.

RC, that is so rude!

Renegade, it makes me sad that you have no imagination. :(

Wow

What a nice man

Cough*tosser*cough

Oh great, it's Rebecca Adlington all over again. So Doctor Ramirez has been put on the 'untouchables' list and any post that doesn't immediately praise her (and her good looks????) is wrong.

Pssh, if Chip and Timbo want to rock her world, then they are more then welcome, I just don't want them telling me someone who isn't that attractive is 'sex on legs'.

Eat me.

She's quite pretty in an individual way but even if she was an utter uggo, you don't need to call her 'thing' and 'liver'. She might be a BCG reader and have read your marriage thread and thought what a nice guy and is now in tears that you were soooo mean
