We have recently completed a test run of a comedy discusion podcast which is now live on itunes and we would appreciate any feedback on it? Please be aware it was a bit unplanned as we have never done a podcast before so it's raw and unedited.

Test phase is well and truly over. We are now averaging over 3k DL's a week and have been featured in the iTunes whats hot section a few times.
Just listening to an episode now. Seems OK, you are both confident and have good chemistry. I still don't really get the appeal of podcasts though despite currently being forced to make one with a friend.
What sort of marketing did you do for it if you don't mind me asking? Or did you just stick it up on iTunes and the audience found you?
Hi, didn't really market it. We are friends with some other podcasters who have given us shout outs on their shows which has helped but the majority has been organic. It's surprising as we are only now getting into actually producing where as before it was recorded and posted in one take and usually very little prep work.
