What are you watching on TV? Page 1,561

A program about pregnant women. One of the women is a smoker who seems to think her smoking is good for the baby. Apparently it makes its lungs and heart grow stronger. :O

Cherie and Tony about to win Pointless.

How appropriate is that!!!

Urgh, watching Graham Norton interviewing Madonna. I doubt even gay porn has this much arse licking.

She looks all botoxy.

The show has just changed channels in Australia. It will now be shown on a commercial network which means it will have adds. I'm not impressed.

I think she's had a bit more done than just Botox.

She reminds me of a fat Chinaman these days.

fat Chinaman.

May I remind you, they're called 'chunks'.

The Beguiled. My third favourite Clint Eastwood film after Pale Rider and Unforgiven. Genuinely odd with a nice nasty ending.

Hellboy, nowthat's what you call a damn good super hero movie!

Anyone else watch Call the Midwife? I really enjoyed it, nice bit of 1950's drama to get lost in. Miranda Hart popped up at the end in a trailer for next weeks episode, playing what looks to be a jolly hockeysticks student midwife...asked if she can ride a bike, she replies 'I can ride a horse, can't be much difference' :D
Looking forward to more of this.

Mrs Will Cam had it on, it seemed well acted and easy enough to watch.

As a film in its own right, it's a lot of stylish fun, but it's not the screen version of the comic I wanted to see. It seems to drop the creepy, sad, horrific stuff and go more for the light funny. Good film though.

All Of Me. Steve Martin when he was funny. Excellent.

Yes a very solid competent piece of family Sunday night dramaa; the sort of thing the BBC always used to do well.

Troubling though to see the naked swimming schoolgirl of your pubescent fantasies as an elderly nun.

The Beguiled

I love that film, and having once been the only straight man in an office of bitching, backstabbing females, it has a certain resonance for me.
