Early 90s *maybe* in the same block as The Upper Hand not sure only lasted a season or less I want to say it was called 'Speccy Four Eyes'
The plot was about a mother who remarries a headmaster with glasses and her daughter who gives him a really hard time. Although it was fairly misandrist the acting was pretty good and the tone of the show quite bleak despite being a pre-watershed comedy.
If anyone could help me recall what it was I'd be overjoyed.
Broadcast in something like 1991 or thereabouts certainly no later than 93/94... possibly autumn season possibly ITV but again I'm not certain....
