Hate it when that happens. Have been told be various people to try slow breathing exercises or just think about sleep. Neither work well. I've taken to sitting up 12-1.30am, sometimes later and then if I can sleeping until 9.30 in the morning. Even if I can't sleep in end up having a better than sleep than if I'd gone to be earlier because I'm not spending hours trying to get to sleep then getting fustrated because I can't sleep. Never understood how some poeople can fall asleep in 15-20mins.
Just spent the evening with one of the most highly decorated soldiers in recent memory. Lots of insight into the current conflict in Afghanistan. It always amazes me when I see what people are capable of doing.
