It does seem very sneaky that they tried to get it demolished a couple of times before it then coincidentally turned out to be 'dilapidated' and a safety risk. Not so bad that people can't go there and spend money, obviously, just so incredibly dangerous that they have no choice but to put a tube station extension through it.

Ha, exactly. Sneaky bloody bastards.
