Public Enemies with Daniel Mays which I was led to believe was going to be a human drama about a murderer's difficult journey to redemption and a well researched look at probation officers' tricky professional and emotional balancing act.
But out of the blue it turned into a whodunnit in which an innocent man searches for the one armed man. A very good one though all the same.

Boosh was great, live and on TV, so I'm hopeful this will be decent. One of the very short trail snippets made me laugh. Talking Squirrel with a shotgun.

This could well be the most random sentence ever.
I have the weirdest love / hate relationship with Bargain Hunt.
Hate -
The contestants - usually retired librarians with failed marriages or local ammy drammy whores desperate to get their stupid faces on the box.
The prize money - only in Britain would we get excited about winning £6.

Tim Wonnacott - seriously, this dude is the shiznit. I can imagine bumping into Tim at a Port tasting event in St. James' and him regaling me with tales of the exotic Far East - opium dens, ladyboys, voodoo, monkey servants and how he once murdered the Raj to protect the honour of an Indian princess. Oh and that is glasses are made from the bones of dead Sri Lankan boy prostitutes.
nb not often one to correct others typos but surely you mean "murdered the raja," not "murdered the raj." The Raj was a protectorate of the British Empire in the 19th century consisting of some 75 million souls.
If the BBC is hiring immortal, genocidal, serial killers to present day time BBC. Then franklythat's not what my license fee is for!
This and more, glad I'm not the only one with vivid imagination!!

Yes, I meant raja. Also not to be confused with the Raj of India curry house in Norwich.
You're suggesting he did in a subpar Norwich curry house.
I hope you have some evidence to back up these wild and frankly libellous allegations.
Next you'll be implying he murdered the Reg from Sunhill.
Did anyone catch Eternal Law? Opinion on the Graun review is divided. Sadly more people seem to think its closer to Bonekickers than Life on Mars.

My mum sits through all this stuff and is usually depressed.
