Ooooh, I did recognise him from somewhere, didn't realise where.
Isn't that thingy? Page 7

Sorry. Is someone going to tell me who Zoe Lyons is?

She's a stand up comedian, and has appeared as such on telly.
I've just been watching the first ever episode of HIGNFy and one of the contestants was the woman who played the policewoman that Rodney dated in Only Fools.

There are some on here who think Only Connect is a hard quiz show. They should check out 321. I can't get my head around any of it.
This isn't the old Ted Rogers/Dusty Bin thing is it?

Martin Jarvis a "thingy"? Surely he's too well known. And in everything.
Maria Doyle Kennedy, who played Mrs Bates in Downton and Catherine of Aragon in The Tudors played Patsy, Eoin McLove's assistant in Father McTed. Eoin was a Daniel O'Donnell type of singer.
Katherine Helmond popped up in an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond the other day. Her face looks like a taxidermist has gone to town on it but her voice is as silky and as mellifluous as ever.

I think his first appearance was as Nicholas Nickleby in the 1960s.
Just saw Victor Meldrew as Reagan's boss in the Sweeney.

No, not according to the great knowledge bank IMDb. NN was in 1968, his first role was as Little Mildred in Tales of Rudyard Kipling in 1964, but it's probably not something he talks about...
The dates on IMDb are likely to show US rather than UK broadcast/release dates, so Chappers could be correct.
