I've just seen... Page 224

I think Thor is the only film where I have felt more attracted to the male lead than the female one.
:$
The bit where he asks for a horse cracked me up. Laughing out loud

Anthony Hopkins? :O

Or this one...

Image

I cannot imagine which.

That semi-naked guy up there, should have renamed it Phwoaar! Mr. Hopkins wig was rather dashing though, kind of.

Heading off to see that Dragon Tattoo movie with the neighbors because:

1) It's the only movie we haven't seen

and

2) the theater has a great beer selection.

Swimming With Sharks. Still very enjoyable, although the brick-sized mobile phones are a bit distracting. Whatever happened to Kevin Spacey? He used to make great films. Now he makes Horrible Bosses.

Doesn't he mainly focus on stage work these days? Both starring and directing? Horrible Bosses had some laughs in it.

He still makes films. He just doesn't select them too well any more.

Yeah, I know he's still in films.

Probably does them mostly for the money to fund his theatre shiz.

Yeah, I know he's still in films.

All right!

The Dark Crystal. Probably nostalgia-induced, but I bloody enjoyed it. I've built up the making-of extra to my son, so it'd better be as good as I remember.

Saw Black Swan last night. Really enjoyed it, although there were some proper nasty moments where I couldn't look at the screen.

Were they the scenes that didn't include the lovely Natalie P?

(am aware of the films content)

Finally seen Rise of Planet of the Apes. Bit acting by numbers in some parts, although those are mainly the Yank humans. The ape characters seemed to be better drawn on the whole than the humans. Nice nods to the orignal, which could have been subtler but hey its a Hollywood studio film where there is no concept of subtle.

I still haven't seen it. But when the scene in my avatar appears I will be very VERY excited.
