Christmas Tree and decorations down. Post Christmas/New Year depression in place.
Just looking at buying a new phone. The choice is overwhelming. Kinda makes it not fun. Which is a weird, spoiled thing to say. But they're either too expensive or too cheap, there's no sweet spot.
I refuse to take my tree and lights down.
Weirdly the tree isn't dropping any needles yet, and it hasn't even been watered since Christmas day.
(I think it's magic.)

Come down off the top of that tree you Angel.
I'm gonna tell my mum on you.

For the last week I've been a sneezing, wheezing snot factory. I kept expecting a cold or the flu to develop but no fever or cough ever materialized. Last night my eyes began itching like mad so I decided that it must be an allergy and looked at the local pollen count. It appears that the mountain cedar (Ashe juniper) is producing pollen by the bucketload at the moment and the wilderness around here is covered with the stuff.
Who needs doctors? Self-diagnosis FTW.
The wind is causing strange sinister rattly noises outside my house.
Same here.
A man's just slipped Chip an anonymous silver pouch and said, "For your animals, mate. For your animals."
Open the pouch!!!!
