Hi everybody,
having read most of the other introductions I sheepishly and humbly introduce myself as a man with a passion for comedy and not a writer or performer, much admired though I am of those who are.
My introduction to comedy would be Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, carry on films, 70's folk/comedians such Billy, Jasper (my Mum was and still is Max Boyce's biggest fan), Python followed by everything else which I've discovered for myself since both old and new, especially The Goons, Pete and Dud and particularly Blaster Bates and a rake of comedy writers, actors and comedians since.
Almost forgot to mention Bill Hicks.
