Drove home yesterday and Brecon Beacons topped with snow (- very prit) and also some here in Hereford (but a light sprinkling)
It's been sheeting down here all day. And the sky's as black as zooo's soul. I sort of miss last years pre-Christmas snow, even though it was a pain in the ass after a while.
My soul is a lovely warm violet actually. I've had it tested.
We have many rains here. I definitely want snow.
After delaying doing my washing all week because it was meant to shower (it didn't) I finaly did it last night. Of course today it decided it would rain, before I could get home to get it off the line. I really need it dry by tomorrow so I can take it away with me but meant to rain most of the day. Got nowhere to hang it inside and can't put most of it in dryer.
Get the hairdryer out?
What about radiators?
I don't own one, I have very short hair so don't need one. Even on days it hasn't rained it's been fairly mild for this time of year, around 25/26c. That's considered mild for this time of year.
By my reckoning, there are 2 full months of winter left. But, I think it's quite rare to have proper heavy snow after mid-Feb.
So, d'yer reckon we'll have a 'white out' this winter? The kind that the Daily Fail are creaming themselves in excitement over?

Oh, please, no. Not like last year.
I know...I dread it, too! I hate it.
I'm hoping it won't come.
It's always colder in spring than it is in summer. But my experiences may be based on living near the north sea where it gets a bit windy.
