Au Revoir everyone

Since I'm British, like comedy and various guides I have finally found the perfect place to call home.

My names Josh and I'm from East Yorkshire (Just outside Hull) a bit of an aspiring writer and now I'm recently unemployed I have a lot of time to do it. Is anyone else from the Hull/East Yorkshire region on this site? Would be interesting to know where people go to watch comedy around these areas as besides the "Hull Comedy Festival" which is not really a festival it's really a collective amount of dates scattered over the year, but there is really nothing else for comedy in Hull which is understandable as the sign coming in to Hull does read "Welcome to Hull, you've probably taken the wrong exit"

Hi Josh, I have only been to Hull to travel on ferry to Zeebrugge!

Hey Josh never been to Hull myself and the closest I have ever been to it is Lincoln. Though I do know some people from Hull.

What sort of writing are you into eg sketchshows, sitcoms, stand up material etc

They do dirt cheap standup courses and excelent standupnights.

The most recent stuff I've been doing is sketches and probably my favourite thing to do, though I do write jokes that aren't intended for any sketches and really I don't know what to do with them.

You could try using it in stand up yourself it's a really fun thing to do
