Most inspirational place to write. Page 3

I used to get ideas when walking the dog but one day I thought up something that I thought funny and I cracked up laughing so much, I had to lean over a low wall. I got a few people asking me was I alright but I couldn't speak for laughing, which had then become sort of a howl. I used another field for walking after that :D

I bought a dictophone so's I can just veg on the sofa.
I don't mind writing at a computer once I start going, but I find it really hard to begin like this and everything inside me fights it.
Guiltless, constructive laziness with a dictophone and a beer - just perfect :)

Do you not have a mobile with voice recorder? Does the same job.

LOL, the worst time to crack up when your'e alone in a public place :)

I remember years ago I went to town to buy a Day Today video, then went to a cafe for a coffee and a fag. I took the tape out and read on the back 'crazed wolves in store, bad mistake admits Mothercare'. I would've laughed anyway, but because I sitting on my own in a busy public place I couldn't stop. I had to run off to the loos in the end to calm myself down before I got sectioned.

Afraid not.
I'm a bit of a Ludite when it comes to mobile phones. The one I use just does calls and nothing else.

My mobile only records for 20 seconds. By time I work out wether it is recording or not I am finished. All i ever end up with is a load of heavy breathing & a f**k. (Not in a sexual way either)

I find that on the sofa, laptop to hand, and half a dozen empty cans on the floor brings out all my creative juices

I just need to wake up the next day, read what I wrote, then completely re-write it again.

I find the most inspirational place to write is the Sistine Chapel. Problem is they don't appreciate graffiti

I think for a lot of writers the most inspirational place to write is sitting in front of the TV whilst watching their comedy DVD collection, just waiting for a joke to "come to them".

Do we really want to know about your creative juices? Errr

Greenhouse on the allotment.

:D

I like writing in prison.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, I was casting around to see where people find their inspiration, and this old comment prompted me to ask; what features do you use on your phone? Other than texting, phoning and taking photos of course.

If I could choose it would be in a log cabin all by myself. A fire roaring & a big bear looking at me through the window.

Sorry Charley that just sounds pretentious to me.

Absolutely none, other than those 3.
Mainly just texting and photos, though.
